δ (Delta): Combined "Collapsable Panels" Version
Mr. Chris Ruscio proposed the solution to the problem of having schedules mixed in: go back to having a separate section for schedules, but keep the collapsable panels for everything else. This, so far, works very well.
Search criteria, search results, and criteria for building a schedule all appear in the top half of the screen. In the bottom half go all the schedules the user wants to create. The two "halves" can be sized differently (down to a minimum size for each), and can even be hidden completely.
There are, of course, plenty of interface elements that still need to be created, but this basic framework seems to be the right model for the application.
